The US dentistry company was focused on development of brand-new teeth appliances. This project was dedicated to treatment planning, designing and manufacturing of dental fixtures. After signing the license agreement, LEDAS started the development of a 3D web software solution for dental treatment by customer request. The volume of this project exceeded 10 person-years.
An innovative CAM company decided to apply LCP for automation of their milling and drilling business. LCP was used as a framework for storing 3D MCAD models with capabilities to view and navigate. Separate algorithmic module dedicated to automatic verification of manufacturing processes was then developed by LEDAS and integrated with LCP.
A framework for construction of bone and joint implants and modeling of the implantation process was requested by a customer, and LEDAS suggested using LCP as a basis. This digital medicine project was launched on the web very fast thanks to functions available in LCP. Then it was enriched by new functions of automatic recognition of landmarks and features on the 3D scanned mesh of a patient body.
In order to develop specific software for automated generation of customized architectural objects, one start-up company from the United States asked LEDAS for help. After technical analysis, LEDAS Cloud Platform was chosen and then used by the licensee. Since the team of this US company was proficient in the 3D web, no support from LEDAS’ side was needed.
LCP was licensed for development of the web client side of the new intuitive 3D Sketcher in the web. This browser solution for non-professional designers was then developed by the LEDAS team. Sketching capabilities were significantly improved by integration with 2D constraint solver.
In order to create an easy-to-use solution for collaborative work with industrial BIM models, a customer decided to use LCP. LEDAS developed and implemented Level-Of-Details technology for better processing of huge BIM models applied in civil engineering, like bridges. Collaboration was easily implemented thanks to bi-directional link between the browser side and the server side.
